This is my friend Simon who is a Director/Actor & Voice Over Artist. We were on a Snowboarding holiday in Lake Tahoe, California. This was our day off from boarding and we were pretty much chilling around the lake. I took this shot of him which he later used for his promotional purposes.

Silhouette

Taken in my Nikon F3, 50mm 1.4 using PanF50 Black & White film. Sometimes it's great to do silhouettes, especially if the person has a very recognisable outline. There's no mistaking who that is.

Monika

Ok I thought it was about time I put some nudity up. I actually do quite a lot of nude Photography but I keep it stylish and tasteful. The worst kind of photo's, in my eyes, is the kind you get in magazines such as Nuts, Zoo, FHM, Loaded etc. The so called "Glamour" photography. It's basically the lowest kind of stuff and not something any of us aspire to, I'm sure..! I'm more for the relaxed natural stuff and if Monika hadn't been relaxed with me, I wouldn't have taken this shot.

Grinding the fence

I took this one after we did the little house shot, it was starting to get dark and i got a few shots of my brother actually on the fence but I liked the one just before het hit the fence the best.

Sorry for the three post a day, but I thought I needed to catch up with some new shots.

You posted some amazing shots Iki! I wonder what Bas will post after his Burma trip.

Little house

This was taken in Austria in December.
My Brother jumped off this little house, but I ended up liking the shot on the house more then the one when he jumped off.

Picture was taken with my Nikon D200 (80-200mm) and a single SB800 on a light stand triggered by a pocket wizard.

Cosplay

I took this picture during my holiday in Japan at the Tokyo Game Show.
I was really cool with all these Cosplayers around. Idon't know what character this guy is upposed to be but he looked so funny.

Picture was taken with a Nikon f100, 50mm and Fuji film

Bas in London

So this is Bas biggin' it up with the London massives! I took this picture with bas's own canon in the centre of Leicester Square. There is a very old, bright and colourful Merry Go Round behind him which was moving. Due to the amount of light available in the evening and the long exposure, the wheel has been completely blurred out.

Barcelona Merce Festival

In Barcelona every year they hold this crazy festival which is not very well known to tourists. To sum it up, it's a religeous festival that involves a lot of fireworks and very little protection or rules on health and safety. If you look at this photo carefully you will see that a lot of people are just wearing t-shirts and no protection. Being a tourist and not knowing anything about it, I was also wearing a t-shirt and had no head protection. Nonetheless, I got in there and took this photo at night on my Nikon F3 with Kodak film. No flash and definitely no tripod. I honestly thought I would burn to death as I walked away with burns on my arms and face. My t-shirt and jeans were ruined.

HK village wedding

This isn’t a perfectly taken picture, but it’s one of my favorites.
This is a picture of a wedding of one of my cousin in Hong Kong and it is traditional to shade the bride with a red umbrella.
It might not seem it, but there are lots of people with cameras about covering the moment, so I decided to go far out and use a telephoto lens from a high ridge that over looks the village for some different shots.

Gemma

So Gemma was forwarded to me by a friend. She is just a normal girl that was aspiring to be a model. Like most aspiring models she was never going to make it in the industry and attracted the wrong people and ended up paying 800 euros for some truly aweful photos.

I helped her out and did the shoot for free. We kept it simple so I didn't let her put on any makeup or wear any frilly or crappy clothes. I used natural daylight for lighting. The results were simple but very tasteful.

Pop Video Shoot

Simon Allix is a very good friend of mine who is a pop video director/actor. I shot this image whilst on one of his shoots. He wasn't happy with one of the camera men so took it onto himself to shoot the scene with the singer in the driving seat of the vintage american car. That was a tough day of the shoot as everything and anything that could've gone wrong, did. The final result was actually awesome.

Getaway Actresses

This is Jane one of the actors from The Getaway. I was comissioned to photograph all the actors. The company had hired all kinds of Flashes with unbrellas but in the end I used a couple of lamps to light the subjects and then used the flashes as my background props. The room itself was very small so to get the black trully black, I used PanF 50 film and shot at 1.4 at around 60

Deep Thoughts in Prague

I took this picture a couple of years ago when I went to Prague with my friends. My friends are really the best people to cath off guard as they are quite used to me carrying a camera and pointing it in all directions. They never really know when I'm going to click so they just ignore me and relax.

Footprint

Here's a picture of my carbon footprint.
This was taken on the ferry back to holland, I wonder if they will plant some trees for me...

...I don't think so, maybe I should turn the TV off once in a while.
